Alot of people have been asking me what all has been going on so I guess I need to post something. Well I had my surgery on my neck. Everything went very well. I have gotten the feeling back in my left arm and I am able to use my hand now without it hurting all the time. I ended having to stay in the hospital for 2 weeks instead of just an overnight stay.
Well I came home from the hospital by ambulance and was home less than 24 hours and my mom had to call 911 to come and get me because my fever was 103 and we had no idea why. So by the time I was at the er I was worse. So they found out that I had developed a very very bad kidney infection. So back in the hospital I went. I was in the hospital for exactly one month.
Finally they decided that maybe I needed to go to a nursing home for the next few weeks to recover but they couldnt get me in anywhere so I finally got to come home. The hospital got me a hospital bed and a lift for home. So I have been home for 2 weeks and the night before last we had to call 911 again to come and get me again. My kidney decided to stop working again so I had to end up getting some IV medicine.
So I am now back home again thank god and hopefully the worst is over. God I hope so. I go back to the doctor this week to get my first check-up from my surgery so hopefully the doc will tell me that I can start getting up and moving around.
Well thats about it. Hope everyone is doing well. I miss all of you and cant wait to see you! Hopefully it will be soon!

Hi everyone! So I went to the doctor today and got the results of my MRI and found out that not only do I have 2 herniated disks in my neck but I have several. There is one that he is mainly concerned about because it is pressing on my nerve which is the reason why I have lost feeling and I the reason why I cant use my left arm that well. So I am having surgery! There is no other option so guess when I am having surgery....this Friday! yes that is right this Friday. I will be having it done at Gwinnett Medical and I will only be in the hospital over night so that is a good thing. Then I will be layed up for about 3 weeks he said.
So then after I am recovered from all of this then I am going to be going and having surgery again because the next thing they have to do is remove the tethered cord on my spine. They cant do them both the same time because it is to dangerous. I dont have any idea about how long I will be layed up from that surgery because he said right now his main focus is on my neck. So I go tomorrow to get my pre-op stuff done and then I find out what time I will be having surgery on Friday.
So please say a little prayer for me. I am not scared just nervous because this is something new for me. I have never had to have surgery on my neck so it is a little scary. So I will post more in a few weeks and let you guys know how things went.

I havent posted anything lately so I decided to post something. I am dreading this week. I am going to get my MRI done on Friday. I am nervous because they are putting me to sleep for it. I have had a terrible weekend. My arm was so bad yesterday that I only got up out of the bed to go to the bathroom and that was it. I dont normally complain about things but I am not sure how much more I can take. I am so tired of hurting all the time. I hate it that I cant do some of the things that I use too. I am having so much trouble getting around these days that some days I just dont want to bother to do anything. I found a picture of me and a friend of mine from back when I first started going to the Office and I was so embarrased to know that I went from that to the way that I look now. I feel like a fat beach whale. No wonder why no guy wants to date me.
I am not writing this to get pity from anyone I guess I am just wanting to vent a little. I have days like this sometimes where everything just finally gets to me and I start feeling sorry for myself. I know there are people out there in worse shape than I am but I just feel like I have been through enough. How much more do I have to go through?
I made it a point to go out 2 times last week just to see everybody and I knew that it would get my mind off of my problems for awhile. Last Sunday I got to hangout with Damon and James and Eric. We had a good time. Then I went out on Thursday to see some other people. I had a pretty good time there. I saw some people that I havent seen in a long time. I was hoping to hangout with a so called friend of mine but he could have cared less that I was. I am so tired of people who act like they care about you but they dont...dont you? Also dont you hate it when you are friends with someone and then they meet one of your other friends and all the sudden they start hanging out with each other and throw you to the side? I am so over that crap. Oh well there loss not mine.
Well now that I have venting about crap I guess I am going to go and watch Ocean's Eleven. It always makes me feel better when I can watch a movie with George Clooney and especially Brad Pitt in it.

Well for those of you that know me know that I have been having some medical problems with my neck. Well I went to the surgeon today and got some bad news. Not only do I have 2 herniated disk in my neck but I have a tethred cord on my spine and it is causing problems with my neck and my bladder so I am going to have to have surgery on that for sure.
Then the next thing I have to do is go have another MRI done and if it shows the same thing with no improvement in my neck from the last time they did the scan then I have to have 3 injections put into my neck and if that doesnt work then I am having surgery on my neck!
I am sorry that I didnt call and let all of you know but I have been so upset ever since I got home that I have cried all day and I just couldnt call everyone so that is why I decided to just send out a bulletin to everyone.
Thank you to my friends that have still been sending me get well wishes and just letting me know that you are thinking of me because it really does help knowing that you do have people out there that care about you.
Well once again I hope everyone is well and I hope I will be able to see you guys soon! If any of you have a free day you are more than welcome to come over. I would love to see ya! Take care.

Hey guys.... I just wanted to post a note to let everyone know that I need your thoughts and prayers again. I had to make another trip to the hospital again and the doctor put me on house arrest! (Thats the way the doctor put it to me). I have developed another infection in my kidney and my kidney is under major stress right now. My kidney is not of normal size. My kidney is 3 times larger than a normal one because since I only have the one kidney it has to work harder so as you can tell this could get really serious. I have strict orders not to do anything and not get stressed about anything for the next week until I go back to the doctor so I could really use all of your thoughts and prayers right now. For all my friends at karaoke I guess I will see you guys in a few weeks. So for the next few weeks everyone do me a favor and go out and have some fun for me too!

I had a great birthday yesterday. My family made a big birthday breakfast for me which was nice and then I spent the rest of the day with my sister and the kids. Later that night I met Tigger, Ashley and Damon for dinner at Applebee's. Tigger took me to dinner for my birthday. It was really nice they gave me a red rose and gave me some other really pretty flowers. After dinner we went to Pipers and they had a little cake for me and my friend Jeff came up. It was really sweet. I had a great time. Tonight I go to the Office and then Saturday night is my big party. I am looking forward to it. Well I guess thats all for now. I hope everyone ends up having a great weekend and thanks to everybody that sent me birthday wishes.

I am so excited right now I cant stand it. For all of you that know me you will understand why I am so happy about this. All of you know what an awful time I have when I go out to karaoke and go to these places that have all the high tables. It is really bothers me having to ask people to help pick me up and put me in a chair. Well last week i went to Pipers and this couple that I have known for about 3 years and I have only known them from karaoke and that is the only time I see them, well her husband help put me in the chair and then came over and ask me if it would be ok if he made me something that would raise my wheelchair up to the level of the tables so that way I wouldnt have to ask people to pick me up. I told him my friends have been trying to come up with something for a while now. So I went back this past Wednesday and he is going to call me next week and come over to my house and get the measurements and then in the next couple of weeks I will have something. I couldnt believe that this person that doesnt even really know me is making this great thing for me. I have really been blessed with meeting all the people that I have and for the wonderful friends that I have. Well I guess thats all for now. Write more again later

It's been a while since I wrote anything so I thought I would take a few minutes and write something. Things have been going good the last few weeks. I have had a lot of good days instead of bad days which is really good. I finally found a doctor out of Emory to go see about my neck so hopefully I will be going to see him soon. I have been on the computer alot lately because I discovered MySpace. Yes I am behind I know. I love it! i am finding alot of people that I know from karaoke. People that I loss touch with I have found. I am still learning how to add things to my page. My sister is helping me with that. I am having a blast with it.
My sister is home now all the time because she quit her job 2 weeks ago. She wasnt getting anywhere with them so she is going to find something else to do. it works out great because we were having such a hard time finding people to come and help me with the kids so now she is at home during the week and it works out great. She is going to find something where she can work nights and weekends. I like having her home all the time. My mom still loves her job. She stays on the road all day long. I wish we could win the lottery so that way my mom and sister wouldnt have to work at all anymore. That would be great.
So last night my sister and I went to Peachtree Tavern for karaoke. I had been telling Jory I was going to come up there and so we decided to go. We had a really good time. Completely different than what I thought it was going to be. I thought ok Buckhead, rich snobby kids, well it wasnt like that at all. Everyone was really nice. They came up and introduced themselves and shook our hands and invited us to sit with them. Really nice bunch of people. There are some really good looking guys there and beautiful girls also.Megan and I got a wonderful surprise last night. One of my close friends Suzanne came up there with her friend Elise. I was so happy to see them. Elise seems very nice. I like her. She can sing too. Suzanne of course was awesome as usual. I am going to make plans with Suzanne to go to one of her shows and then stay over at her house with her one night. I think that it will be alot of fun.
Nothing else really is new. I am already being asked what I want for my birthday this year. Instead of having my birthday party at the Office this year we are going to have it on Saturday March 18th at Backdraft. One thing that I want is I want to get the love symbol tattooed on my wrist. I need to go to Good Clean Fun and see how much it is going to be. My other sister Kathleen is taking me and my mom and sister and the kids to the zoo for my birthday. I have been wanting to go for 5 years now so I am looking forward to that. I hate the thought of turning 35. YUCK!!!! I am just 5 years away from 40. It makes me feel good when people tell me I dont look my age.
Well I guess thats all for now. I will write again this weekend and let you know what is going on. Hope everyone has a great week and a great weekend.
